In projects big and small nationwide, RNR Tire Express (RNR) and its franchisees donated $1 million to those in need in 2018. There were cash donations, drives to help those affected by hurricanes, and gifts of cars, tires and school supplies along the way.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to see the impact that we’ve had the opportunity to make on organizations, families and individuals with what to us, may seem like such small acts of kindness,” says Larry Sutton, founder and CEO of RNR Tire Express. “At RNR Tire Express, service is at the cornerstone of our brand, not only as a commitment to our customers, but also to all of our neighbors and friends in need. We look forward to continuing to serve for many years to come.”
Since the company's inception, RNR has given $4 million to charities.
In 2018, these were among the company's gifts and projects:
- collected supplies and donations for Hurricane Maria relief efforts in Puerto Rico;
- surprised three mothers with a gift of a car for Mother's Day;
- hosted a back-to-school giveaway for families to pick up donated school supplies;
- honored a woman fighting breast cancer, and her nurse, with a $1,000 donation, spa day and a new set of tires.
RNR franchisees have done even more in their local communities.
The brand has grown to 118 locations in 23 states, and recorded nearly $160 million in sales in 2018.
