Sales of the Bridgestone brand have grown by eight million units over the past three years, Bridgestone Corp. CEO Shigeo Watanabe told dealers at this week's International Tire Expo (ITE) in Las Vegas, Nev.
"The Bridgestone brand is showing great strength," says Watanabe.
He also said that Bridgestone officials "are very pleased with the success of the Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire LLC (BFNT) management team. This company is making great progress."
BFNT began heavily pushing the Bridgestone brand in North America several years ago following the Firestone recall.
