TRIB will participate in Michigan conference

Feb. 8, 2005

The Tire Retread Information Bureau (TRIB) will take part in three one-day tire retreading, repairing and maintenance workshops for the Michigan Local Assistance Program (LTAP) in early March.

The workshops, coordinated by TRIB Managing Director Harvey Brodsky, will cover the importance and benefits of proper tire retreading and repairing, along with sessions on new tire construction, troubleshooting new tire problems, tire repair techniques, and truck tire mounting and demounting safety issues.

TRIB will distribute literature, including TRIB Information Packets, videos, and related literature to all attendees.

LTAP was established by the Federal Highway Administration to help foster a safe, efficient and environmentally sound transportation system by improving the skills and knowledge of local, county, city and township officials.

TRIB members in Michigan are welcome to attend and assist in the retreading portions of the sessions, says Brodsky.
