Thousands of dollars will be given away during the Tire Industry Association´s (TIA) Welcome Reception and Breakfast with the President events, which are part of the "Performance Tires & Wheels sponsored by TIA" section of the upcoming Specialty Market Equipment Association show in Las Vegas, Nev.
The Welcome Reception will be held Monday, Nov. 1, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Risque´ in the Paris Hotel. Attendees will be able to win one of several $1,000 cash prizes.
TIA´s Breakfast with the President event takes place Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the same venue. It will feature presentations by outgoing TIA President Larry Morgan and incoming TIA President Dick Gust. Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. is sponsoring the breakfast and will give away $20,000 to a dealer in attendance.
The breakfast also will include this year´s Tire Industry Hall of Fame inductions. Inductees will be announced by the end of September.
