Yokohama will raise prices

Yokohama Tire Corp. will increase its passenger and light truck tire prices by 4% to 6% and its

its medium truck, OTR and light truck commercial tire prices by 3% to 5% on Nov. 1.

Yokohama officials attribute the increases to several factors including rising raw material costs, insurance premium increases and "infratructure costs associated with the TREAD (Transportation Recall Enhancement and Documentation) Act."
