Goodyear names new board member

James C. Boland is the latest addition to Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.'s board of directors.

Boland currently serves as president and CEO of CAVS/Gund Arena Co., which owns several pro sports franchises in Cleveland, Ohio.

Previously, he was vice chairman of accounting for Ernst & Young.

"Boland brings to Goodyear's board of directors important business and financial management experience that will be valuable to our company," says Goodyear Chairman and CEO Sam Gibara.
