Leeds West Groups (LWG) has boosted its footprint with the acquisition of six Big O stores in New Mexico.
Greenwood, Colo.-based LWG purchased the stores from Keith Blake, Michael Pryor, Mitch Beranek and Scott Koldenhoven. Terms of the deal, which closed today, have not been revealed.
The transaction boosts the firm's Big O store holdings to 23 locations and marks the 14th "new Big O Tires location added into the LWG portfolio within the last 80 days," according to LWG officials.
"Entering into the New Mexico market was a no-brainer for LWG," says Judd Kyle Shader, LWG CEO. "It allows us to build out the states surrounding Colorado, continuing to create consolidation and large expansion opportunities for us along the Interstate 25 corridor and the midwest region."
Shader adds that LWG is "committed to shifting our acquisition focus to larger-scale growth opportunities and this deal aligns perfectly with our growth objectives and operational strengths."
James Gould, vice president of LWG's Big O Tires division, and Derek Wessels, COO of LWG's Automotive Divisions, will run the company's New Mexico operations.
