John Repp has joined The Wheel Group's (TWG) national accounts team to focus on building opportunities for the company's AMP Tires brand.

"Repp brings decades of experience in the tire and automotive aftermarket, with a career that includes leadership positions with Bridgestone and Dunlap & Kyle, along with extensive experience working directly with tire dealers and
distributor customers," according to officials.

After beginning his tire industry career with NTW, he joined Bridgestone and held multiple roles supporting distributor accounts. At Dunlap & Kyle, Repp held leadership roles across the company's retail and distribution operations.

At TWG, Repp will focus on developing strategic customer relationships, expanding national account opportunities for AMP Tires and coordinating with tire dealers and distributors.

“This is our biggest upgrade yet to our AMP Tires brand,” says Wade Kawasaki, CEO of The Wheel Group. “John has competed against AMP Tires and now he's building it. That perspective is exactly what our dealers and distributors need, and it's a clear signal of how aggressively we're investing in
this brand and this team. He will be integral in building out our product line and the AMP brand as we grow.”

“Having led sales organizations competing against AMP Tires and then adding them as one of our offerings, I've seen firsthand what sets this brand apart,” says Repp. “Their commitment to quality, testing and real-world performance isn't marketing copy — it's built into the product itself.

"We're aggressively investing in the depth and breadth of our offering, and the customer relationship is paramount, all the way down to the driver on the road. AMP is primed to capture significant market share, and I'm excited to be part of driving that growth," says Repp.
