More than 500 enthusiasts attended Tire Group International LLC's (TGI) recent Cosmo Tires Kool Kat Ambush event in Tampa, Fla.

The event also attracted more than 200 vehicles "of all types and styles," according to TGI officials, who add that " aparticularly strong turn-out from the Tampa Bay Jeep Club helped fuel a celebration where every ride — and every generation — had a place.

"From children discovering car culture to seasoned enthusiasts showing off their rides, the event brought together a diverse crowd united by a love of cars, creativity and good times. Trophies across 18 categories celebrated the variety and personality of the vehicles on display."

Dunlop Tires North America, Yokohama Tire Corp., Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc., Sailun Tires' Vogue Tyres division, Kenda Tires, Dante Tire and Wheel Paradise all had a presence at the event.

"The action went well beyond the cars. Food vendors, live music, and race car simulators kept fans entertained, while live graffiti brought the Cosmo spirit to life. Live T-shirt printing, complete with custom graffiti tags, gave attendees a personal piece of the Ambush to take home. 

"Cosmo’s popular tire roll game once again proved a crowd favorite, with every winner taking home $50 in Kat Kash," say TGI officials. "With fans stepping up to test their skills and cheer each other on, the game delivered plenty of friendly competition and Kool Kat smiles.
