What was your first job in the industry?

Tire tech. I learned how to change tires during a summer in high school to help someone that was injured.

What attracted you to the industry?

It's my family’s business so I've been around it for most of my life.

What is the biggest challenge you've faced in your career?

Time management.

Who has had the biggest influence on your career?

My dad. He's the hardest worker I know.

What is your biggest accomplishment in the industry?

I'm doing everything I can to keep the business running as smoothly as possible.

Tell us about your current job and responsibilities. How do you spend your workday?

I help load a delivery truck in the morning, process national accounts, oversee accounts payable/receivable, and handle most of the point of sale/IT problems that come up in the stores throughout the day.

Tell us about your family.

I work with most of my family. My grandfather started Warren Tire in 1983 (and it) is currently owned by my uncle. My dad is a store manager, my mom does accounts payable, my wife does accounts payable and my cousin does payroll. I also have a daughter.

What is the most essential professional skill for someone in your job?

Flexibility.

What song takes you back to high school? (Include the artist)

“Calling All Skeletons” by Alkaline Trio

If you could start a new career tomorrow, what would you do?

Maybe something more in IT.

Do you live by inbox zero, or inbox disaster?

I try (for inbox zero), but sometimes it definitely heads towards disaster.

In the next 10 years, what will be the biggest change in the tire industry?

Airless tires might be more widespread.

What moment in life would you like to live over again?

Time has been going by so fast that if I look back I'll miss what's happening right now. I'm looking forward to the future.

What hobby or activity helps you unwind?

I like playing video games.

If it was your job to persuade new people to join the tire industry, what would be your best selling point?

There is always something to learn and everybody needs tires.

What's one thing you would change about yourself?

I'd like to be a little more outgoing.

Pick a celebrity and explain why you think he/she would be a great tire dealer.

Gordon Ramsay. He's thorough but also very understanding, after he gets through his ranting.
