The Tire Industry Association (TIA) held its annual membership meeting and press conference before the start of this year's Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, Nev. Mason Hess, outgoing TIA president, handed over the gavel and presidential title to Jim Pangle.
“It’s been a pleasure and honor to serve as president to this thriving organization,” said Hess.
“I am honored to be your president and make an impact in this industry,” said Pangle.
During the meeting, TIA CEO Dick Gust said the association ended the fiscal year in the black.
TIA officials also touched on the Michelin/TIA scholarship awards that were given to two students of dependents members in TIA. This year, TIA gave out $4,600 to two students.
