The new Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent is the first all-terrain tire to feature Bridgestone’s ENLITEN technology.
“Specifically engineered for high-rim diameter vehicles, Bridgestone’s latest all-terrain tire delivers excellent on-road refinement, combined with excellent wet, winter and off-road traction,” according to Bridgestone Americas Inc. Officials.
The Dueler A/T Ascent features a unique, wear-resistant compound; an aggressive tread pattern with widened tread slots and notches to reduce noise and fight chip tear; full-depth, interlocking 3D sipes with increased density for optimal snow traction; a square shoulder and more.
Available now in 35 sizes, the tire fits rims ranging from 17 inches to 22 inches in diameter.
“Our mission with Ascent was to develop a luxury truck tire that could tackle the trails on the weekends, without sacrificing the comfort of the daily commute,” says Jeremy Norwood, chief engineer, replacement product engineering, Bridgestone.
