Mavis Tire Express Services Corp.'s Midas International Inc. organization has acquired Max Auto Supply Co., a Midas franchise with 111 locations.

Founded in 1958 and based in Toledo, Ohio, Max Auto has locations throughout Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Kentucky and Georgia.

"Max Auto will maintain its headquarters in Toledo, Ohio, and continue to operate as a standalone business, leveraging the support and resources of the broader Midas platform to continue to strengthen its dedicated customer-first approach," say Mavis officials.

"Max Auto will continue to be led by Vice President Randy Lindhurst and the rest of its executive team, which will collectively ensure continuity and uphold the high standards of service customers have come to expect. With this acquisition, Max Auto joins Midas as part of the Mavis Tire family of brands and companies."

TBC Corp. sold its Midas operation, which included around 1,200 locations, to Mavis this past June.

When the deal was announced, Mavis, already the nation's largest tire dealership at the time, said the addition of Midas gave its retail network more than 3,500 locations.

Mavis is the largest tire dealership in the United States, according to the 2025 MTD 100.
