TBC Refreshes CrossWind Line

June 13, 2025

TBC Corp. is expanding the CrossWind portfolio of tires by adding sizes to existing products and offering the new CrossWind RuggedTraxx, a rugged-terrain tire.

The RuggedTraxx tire features a "crossed horned block design" which TBC says provides traction in both muddy and soft surfaces. The tire is specifically designed for climbing surfaces and is available in 28 sizes. It comes with a 50,000-mile tread warranty.

TBC has also updated the CrossWind TrailTraxx, an all-terrain tire, with a new tread design that provides traction and durability as well as confidence in unpredictable weather, including rain, ice and snow. The tire's reinforced sidewalls lessen damage from obstructions. The TrailTraxx is available in 34 sizes with a 55,000-mile tread warranty.

The CrossWind Ultra Sport+ is for ultra-high performance, all-season tire fitments, and TBC says its made for sports cars, luxury vehicles and high performance sedans. The tread features four primary longitudinal grooves that aid performance in wet conditions. A ridge design drains and disperses water quickly for handling on wet surfaces, and high-density 3D sipes enable better control, breaking and cornering. The Ultra Sport+ is available in 40 sizes and comes with a 50,000-mile tread warranty.

The CrossWind brand has been around since 1975 and has produced more than 79 million tires globally, TBC says. These latest additions make it a line with nearly 150 sizes with products for passenger, SUV and light truck vehicles.

TBC is the exclusive marketer and distributor of the brand in the U.S. and Canada.

“CrossWind is a robust tire line that offers an unbeatable combination of sizes and segment coverage at a competitive price,” says Rachel Tibor, group vice president of wholesale marketing for TBC Corp. “We’ve invested in strengthening this line to help ensure our customers have the products they need, when they need them, to support their growth and keep their customers driving forward.”
