Kumho Launches Road Venture RT

Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. has announced its Road Venture RT, a rugged-terrain tire that bridges the gap between all-terrain and mud-terrain segments.  

The Kumho Road Venture RT combines rugged terrain traction and enhanced off-road durability with on-road comfort and a 50,000-mile treadwear warranty.

Features of the new tire include a rugged and aggressive side biter design, wave shoulder groove under blocks for stone ejecting and a spider web design for tire casing protection. It also features interlocking center blocks for straight driving capability and varied pitch application to reduce pattern and road noise.  

The Kumho Road Venture RT uses Kumho’s proprietary compound, which uses multi-functional S-SBR and carbon black for enhanced wear and chipping resistance. 

The Road Venture RT tire will be available in September in 27 sizes ranging from 17” to 22” rim diameters, with additional sizes to be added in 2026. It comes with an industry-leading 50 K-mile limited tread wear warranty, road hazard warranty and 30-day satisfaction guaranteed trial warranty.
