Sun to Rebrand New Acquisition

Sun Auto Tire & Service Inc. will rebrand its recently acquired Main Street Tire & Auto store as a Plaza Tire Service location.

Main Street Tire & Auto is based in Virden, Ill.

The acquisition represents "an important opportunity to continue growing the Plaza Tire Service brand in Illinois,” says Rob Kingery, regional vice president, operations, for Sun Auto Tire & Service, which is based in Mesa, Ariz. “This location allows us to expand our reach while reinforcing the operational strength and consistency our network is known for.”

Sun Auto Tire & Service has more than 590 locations. It acquired Plaza Tire Service in 2021.
