High Ridge, Mo.-based Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers has acquired two Columbus, Ohio-based Bowman Tire & Repair Center locations.
The purchase gives Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers, which is backed by Audax Private Equity, more than 155 locations across eight states.

Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers recently opened five locations in the Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio, markets "as part of a significant expansion of strategically redeveloped sites in Ohio, Missouri, Illinois and Wisconsin. The recent acquisitions of Bowman marks an exciting chapter for Dobbs, which now has 47 locations in the Ohio market."
