The 20,000-square-foot Hurst, Texas, dealership has been transformed into a Cosmo Tires-branded destination store.

Tire Group International is expanding Cosmo Tires' presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth market through a new branding partnership with Kinney’s Automotive in Hurst, Texas.

The collaboration has transformed Kinney’s 20,000-square-foot facility into a Cosmo Tires destination store featuring new exterior branding, merchandising and other updates designed around the tiremaker’s retail identity.

The store is the latest participant in the Cosmo Tires Retail Partnership Program, which the company says is designed to help independent tire dealers strengthen their retail identities, increase consumer engagement and differentiate their stores in their local markets.

More than 20 retail locations in the United States currently participate in the program, along with select locations in Latin America. Cosmo says additional locations are planned.

“Kinney’s Automotive represents exactly the kind of dealer partner we want to grow with,” says Mark Lindsey, chief strategy officer of Cosmo Tires. “This isn’t simply about putting our name on a building. Together, we’re creating a destination where we can sell tires, build the Cosmo Tires brand, engage consumers and bring the automotive community together.”

Cosmo and Kinney’s marked the store transformation with a Cosmo Tires Ambush Nites event that included show cars, music, live graffiti painting, promotions, giveaways and product displays. The companies plan to hold additional Ambush events at the Hurst location.

The dealership is also expected to host an annual Cosmo Tires Kool Kat Ambush. Cosmo says the property’s outdoor space can accommodate more than 500 show cars, along with entertainment, vendors, product displays and other activities.

Cosmo says the retail program combines store branding with localized marketing and consumer events intended to help participating independent dealers drive traffic and build stronger connections with their communities.
