Continental Tire will supply its EcoContact 6 Q, ProContact TX10 and WinterContact TS 870 P as original equipment for the Audi Q3.

Providing factory-fitted tires for year-round performance, Continental has been approved to cover sizes from 17 to 20 inches for Audi's compact SUV model.

The EcoContact 6 Q, approved for the Audi Q3 in 18, 19 and 20-inch sizes, is a summer tire designed for particularly low rolling resistance and high energy efficiency. Features include a special rubber compound and tread pattern that reduces rolling resistance, lowers fuel consumption and improves braking in wet and dry conditions, say Continental officials. 

The ProContact TX10 is an all-season tire designed to provide balanced traction in all weather conditions, optimized braking performance on wet roads, low rolling noise and grip in light snow. The tire is approved for the U.S. and Canadian market and is available in 18, 19 and 20-inch sizes.

For demanding winter conditions, Audi recommends Continental’s WinterContact TS 870 P winter tire. It offers a "newly developed tread design and innovative sipes," reliable grip on snow and ice and features a compound that stays flexible at low temperatures. Providing enhanced grip and handling, the tire is approved for the Audi Q3 in 17 and 19-inch sizes.
