Sullivan Tire and Auto Service recently supported several New England organizations during the Worcester Red Sox’s first Eye Health Awareness Night at Polar Park in Worcester, Mass.

The Norwell, Mass.-based tire dealership made contributions to GoodVision USA and the Boston Renegades as part of the event. GoodVision USA works to expand access to affordable vision care, while the Boston Renegades provide athletic opportunities for visually impaired participants.

“Being part of the communities we serve has always been important to Sullivan Tire,” says Paul Sullivan, vice president of marketing for Sullivan Tire. “We were honored to support GoodVision USA and the Boston Renegades and to help shine a light on the important work these organizations are doing.”

The evening also included a performance by Melanie R., a participant with New England Village, who sang the National Anthem before the game.

Sullivan Tire has been a longtime supporter of New England Village, which provides services and programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

“Seeing Melanie take the field and sing the National Anthem made an already special night even more memorable,” says Sullivan. “We’re grateful for opportunities like this to support organizations and individuals who make such a positive impact throughout New England.”

Sullivan Tire has 83 retail locations and 21 commercial truck centers, as well as wholesale distribution locations, retread plants, LiftWorks facilities and distribution centers throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Maine.

The company, which was founded in 1955, became employee-owned through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan in 2023.
