GreatWater added 20 automotive repair shops to its national network in the third quarter of 2026 while continuing to expand across the United States.

The company continues to partner with both "single-location operators and established multi-shop groups while preserving the local identities, teams and customer relationships that made each business successful," say GreatWater officials.

The recent additions include single-location shops such as RJ’s Auto Pros in Kent, Ohio; Coldwater Auto Service in Coldwater, Mich.; Lonsbury Garage in Angola, Ind.; and Brooks Auto Care in Indianapolis, Ind., and most recently, Tony’s Brake & Alignment in Louisville, Ky.; O’Reilly Motor Cars in Milwaukee, Wis.; and Chuck’s Main Street Auto in Sussex, Wis.

GreatWater also welcomed two shop groups in the quarter, including 1 Stop Auto Shop, a six-location group serving customers across central and southern Illinois, and Clutch Automotive, a seven-location group that marked GreatWater’s entry into the Houston market.

“GreatWater’s growth isn't limited to one type of acquisition,” says Jim Dykstra, CEO of GreatWater 360 Auto Care. “We can support a single-location owner thinking about the future of their shop, and we can also support operators who have built successful multi-location groups. What matters in every case is fit, quality and our ability to carry forward what made the business successful.”

The company continues to build its intentional acquisition and expansion strategy by working with single-location and multi-shop groups to "preserve the shop’s legacy, support the team in place, maintain customer continuity and strengthen the business behind the scenes through a broader operating platform."

“Growth at this pace only works when the process is disciplined and the transition is thoughtful,” says Scott Anderson, president and chief operating officer of GreatWater 360 Auto Care. “Whether we are onboarding one shop or a group of shops, the responsibility is the same. We need to understand what made the business successful, support the people who made it work and connect the shops to resources that help them continue moving forward.”

Each shop added during this period will continue operating under its established local name while maintaining the same teams. The shops also gain access to GreatWater’s operating support platform, including resources across operations, recruiting, technician development, procurement, finance, marketing, technology and training, according to officials.

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based GreatWater 360 Auto Care is one of the largest tire dealerships in the U.S., according to the 2026 MTD 100.
