TIA Introduces New Industrial Tire Service Class in 2026 Training Schedule
The Tire Industry Association (TIA) recently announced its 2026 Training Schedule, featuring an Industrial Tire Service (ITS) course for the first time.
The Automotive Tire Service Advanced Instructor (ATS) 400-level tour specializes in passenger and light truck tire service and emphasizes advanced safety practices, efficiency and professional-grade service techniques.
The ATS 400 dates and locations are March 17-20 in Detroit, Mich.; April 14-17 in Columbus, Ohio; Aug. 4-7 in Seattle, Wash.; Sept. 15-18 in Long Island, N.Y., and Nov. 17-20 in Los Angeles, Calif.
The Commercial Tire Service 400-level tour provides in-depth instruction on critical service practices like wheel assembly, jacking and lifting procedures, lock-out/tag-out protocols and adherence to U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA) guidelines.
The CTS 400 dates and locations are March 10-13 in Youngstown, Ohio (women only); April 21-24 in Columbus, Ohio; May 19-22 in Jordan, Utah, and Sept. 22-25 in Long Island, N.Y.
The Advanced Earthmover Tire Service (ETS) 200-level class covers service truck operation, hydraulic tool usage and the service of multi-piece wheels both on and off equipment.
Key dates and locations for the ETS 200 class are April 14-17 in Brooksville, Fla.; Sept. 15-18 in Garner, Iowa, and Dec. 8-11 in Brooksville, Fla.
The TIA Earthmover Tire Service Instructor 400-level class includes comprehensive training on OTR tire safety, handling and tubeless demounting and mounting procedures.
The ETS 400 takes place July 14-17 in Garner, Iowa.
The Advanced Farm Tire Service training offers instruction in agricultural tire demounting, mounting and inflation, with a strong emphasis on safety and service truck operation.
The Farm Tire Service class takes place on June 9-12 in Garner, Iowa.
New for 2026, TIA’s Advanced ITS 200-level class brings hands-on training to industrial tire service professionals. The program focuses on safety standards, equipment operation and best practices specific to material-handling and industrial environments.
The ITS 200-level class takes place Dec. 1-3 in Brooksville, Fla.
Registration is now open for TIA’s 2026 training programs. Class sizes are limited, and early registration is encouraged. Additional classes and locations will be announced throughout the year.
