Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is committing $200,000 to the National Hockey League (NHL) Foundation in support of diversity and inclusion initiatives that will create more access to the sport for children and youth in two cities that represent hockey’s growing reach.
Bridgestone’s donation to NHL Foundation will benefit the Las Vegas Golden Knights Foundation and the Nashville Predators Foundation.
Support will build a hockey rink for local the Boys and Girls Club in Las Vegas and fund a youth hockey diversity program in Nashville.
The pledge advances Bridgestone’s commitment to helping build an inclusive world that celebrates equality and promotes diversity.
Bridgestone is also working with the NHL on an event between the Vegas Golden Knights and Colorado Avalanche that will be played in a unique outdoor setting in Lake Tahoe on February 20.
