April 4, 2014

Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO) has debuted its newest highway luxury tire, the Dueler H/L Alenza Plus, for drivers of premium SUVs, CUVs and light trucks.

The Dueler H/L Alenza Plus has an 80,000-mile tread wear limited warranty. It is designed to provide benefits that eco-minded luxury drivers will appreciate, including improved fuel-efficiency, which yields reduced vehicle emissions. The tire also features a new tread compound, which is composed of five percent recycled rubber.

"At Bridgestone, we’re engineering all of our tires with incredible, new technologies that work smarter for today’s drivers," says Justin Hayes, consumer tire product manager, Bridgestone Americas. "We have taken one of our best-selling tires, the Dueler H/L Alenza, and made it even better."

Designed to deliver the ultimate luxury driving experience, the Dueler H/L Alenza Plus provides a smooth highway ride, great handling and trusted all-season traction. Additional features of the Dueler H/L Alenza Plus include:

* A quiet, comfortable all-season ride facilitated by a finely tuned tread pattern.

* A stylish design to complement the look of luxury vehicles, including a unique tread pattern and EverBlack sidewall that preserves the appearance over time.

* Bridgestone’s Eco-Product designation, as the tire is partially made from recycled materials, features low-rolling resistance for better fuel-efficiency and conserves natural resources.

Bridgestone first introduced the Dueler H/L Alenza in 2004. The next-generation Dueler H/L Alenza Plus is Bridgestone’s most advanced SUV, CUV and Light Truck offering to-date.

"No other manufacturer offers an 80,000 mile tread wear limited warranty on a highway luxury SUV, CUV and light truck tire. The improved wear performance of the Dueler H/L Alenza Plus is the result of a new tread compound, developed and refined by Bridgestone’s engineers," Hayes says.

The Dueler H/L Alenza Plus is available in 34 sizes in 15- to 20-inch rim diameters. To learn more, visit www.bridgestonetire.com.
