Magna Tyres Group is beefing up its logistics and sales operations with two new appointments.
Last month, Andy Luu joined Magna Tyres Canada as its logistics manager.
"Luu has years of experience in the supply chain industry, with previous positions at multiple leading companies," according to Magna officials.
"He intends to use his experience to look at how further improvements can be made in the supply chain for Magna Tyres in Canada. Luu will be responsible for coordinating and managing movements, in an effort to streamline activity and improve customer service."
Magna also recently named J.D. Lews sales manager for its western zone in the United States. A 12-year tire industry veteran, Lewis "will give a boost to the already strong presence of the Magna brand."
He will be responsible for developing new business, while increasing sales and productivity.
"This year, we will continue to roll out our successful strategy and strengthen the Magna footprint across the North American continent," say Magna officials.
