Continental Tire the Americas LLC will kick off the new year with new prices on Continental- and General-brand passenger and light truck tires.
The company says the increases will vary depending on tire line and sizes. The price increases will be effective Jan. 7, 2019, in the U.S., and the company plans to communicate line-item details to its direct customers by Dec. 7, 2018.
Continental says, "This adjustment is in response to the continued escalation of raw materials, energy, and logistics costs associated with the production and distribution of these products."
