Greenball Corp. unveiled an addition to the Kanati light truck tire line at the 2013 SEMA (Speciality Equipment Market Association) Show on Nov. 5 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The show and its companion event, the Global Tire Expo, run through Nov. 8.
The new Kanati Trail Hog (pictured) features both an aggressive and durable tread capable of handling a variety of terrains. It also has smooth highway characteristics, according to the company.
Greenball said it will begin shipping the tire in early 2014.
A wide variety of tires will be on display at the Greenball booth (No. 43177 in the lower South Hall), from Tow-Master specialty trailer tires and Power Master OTR/agriculture tires to Gee "reensaver" golf cart tires and Centennial light truck and passenger vehicle tires.
Greenball also will be celebrating the success of its powersports division, GBC Motorsports. The company says GBC’s UTV/SXS tire, the Kanati Mongrel, "has been extremely popular for UTV and side-by-side enthusiasts and racers alike. In its first year, the Mongrel has built an impressive racing record that includes the 2013 King of the Hammers UTV title, the WORCS Racing SXS 1000 class title and many more honors in race series around the country."
GBC Motorsports will add two sizes to the Mongrel line in early 2014: 27x9.00R12 and 27x11.00R12.
