Bristol, Tenn.-based Flex-Trax Inc., marketer of the GoClaws tire traction system, has introduced SnoClaws with a ratchet fastening system.
The tire traction systems are for use in mud, sand, snow and ice. They are made of injection-molded, high-strength and high-durability polyurethane and feature a positive locking design with dual locking pins that cannot disengage once pulled into the opposing keyhole slots. GoClaws and SnoClaws offer a smooth ride and long life, the company says.
The new SnoClaws work well with every size tire from garden tractor for driveway plowing to medium truck tires. SnoClaws must be fitted and adjusted for the dimensions of each tire to prevent damage during use. They can be installed easily over tires without moving or jacking, even if the vehicle is already stuck.
