Horizon Tire Corp. has appointed industry veterans Robert “Bob” Horbatt and Javier Valdez to sales positions within the company.
As regional vice president of the Northeast Division, Horbatt is responsible for key account sales in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and the Washington, D.C., area. Horbatt started in the industry in 1961 and has held positions in retail, commercial and wholesale.
As a sales director, Valdez is responsible for corporate sales in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and El Paso, Texas. Valdez comes to Horizon Tire with 18 years sales experience in the tire and wheel industry.
