Dunn Tire LLC is moving its headquarters and main distribution facility from Buffalo, N.Y., to the Airport Commerce Park at 475 Cayuga in the Buffalo suburb of Cheektowaga, N.Y.

The expansion and relocation is the culmination of many months of location searches and site analyses. The 80,000-square-foot facility will eventually employ more than 75 people.

According to Dunn Tire officials, the facility will not only be "a catalyst for our wholesale expansion," but also result in "significant improvements and efficiencies in customer service to our current retail and wholesale outlets throughout upstate New York and western Pennsylvania."

Dunn Tire is working with Ciminelli Development Co. on the project. "Our goals were to reduce energy and water consumption, provide the best possible interior environment for our employees, while incurring the least environmental impact possible during the process," says the company. "Pursuing USGBC LEED Silver certification will verify our project's sustainable design, and confirm our environmental stewardship efforts."

The construction and relocation is expected to be completed in August 2008.

Dunn Tire LLC, an American Car Care Centers member distributor, employs approximately 400 associates at 30 retail and wholesale locations in western and central New York, and western Pennsylvania.
