Telle Tire Buys Its 6th Store of 2020

Sept. 15, 2020

Telle Tire & Auto Centers Inc. has acquired its sixth location of the year, the latest is a single-store operation based in St. Louis, Mo.

Aaron Telle, CEO and president, says the company has acquired J&W Automotive. The store will undergo an "extensive" renovation to make it a flagship location under the Telle Tire brand. The acquisition gives Telle Tire 16 locations in Missouri, including 10 stores in the St. Louis market, one in Jefferson City, and five more in Kansas City.

The Kansas City locations were acquired in March of this year. The KC Complete Auto Service stores have been rebranded as "KC Complete Auto Service, a Telle Tire Co." Telle says the name "builds on the strong automotive service brand established in the Kansas City market, and leverages the Telle Tire brand from St. Louis."

Telle, a fourth-generation tire dealer, says despite the challenges of COVID-19, the company "remains focused on growth and opportunity across Missouri.

"As an essential business, Telle Tire continues to look at expansion opportunities and growth during the current COVID-19 pandemic and continues to be cautiously optimistic."
