Global Rubber Industries Pvt. Ltd. (GRI) recently took home three awards "for demonstrating excellence in business" and contributing to the economic advancement of Sri Lanka, its home country.
GRI received the honors during the recently held National Business Excellence Awards, sponsored by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka.
Specifically, GRI received a Merit Award for Excellence in Environmental Sustainability, in addition to a Merit Award for Manufacturing. The specialty tiremaker also was runner-up in the Excellence in Global Market Reach Category.
"To be presented with multiple awards for National Business Excellence reflects the high quality of standards the company adheres to in its continued pursuit for excellence, as it uncompromisingly commits to its core values of integrity, being purposeful, passionate, far-sighted, relentless and customer-focused," say GRI officials.
