Goodyear concept tires abound at Detroit Auto Show

Jan. 9, 2002

Several vehicles at this week's North American International Auto Show sport Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. products.

They include Ford Motor Co.'s Mighty F-350 Tonka concept truck that features hand-carved size LT315/60R22 tires and the auto manufacturer's GT40 sports car that boast Goodyear-created P245/45R18 (front) and P285/45R19 (rear) concept tires with ultra-high performance tread designs.

Goodyear also says it is "fine-tuning" super-wide Eagle RS-A performance tires in P255/45R19 (front) and P295/40R20 (rear) for fitment on the Chevrolet SSR roadster pick-up.
