Orange oil: It's what's for breakfast -- and tire construction. Yokohama Tire Corp. showcased the dB Super E-spec, which features environmentally friendly orange oil, In Denver, Colo., on Aug. 20.
However, the company didn't come to the ride-and-drive with only one tire. Invitees also test drove the new Yokohama Avid ENVigor, an all-season performance touring tire.
In keeping with the theme of the event, the ENVigor (the "ENV" stands for "enviroment") reduces rolling resistance compared to more conventional tires with the help of compounding, tread design and weight reduction.
