Continental Tire the Americas LLC's new distribution center in Redlands, Calif., already is at full operating capacity, the company reports. The warehouse's grand opening was held on April 15.
"Continental took occupancy of the facility in a move that consolidated two smaller operations in Ontario and South Gate, Calif. The Redlands warehouse offers 500,000 square feet of space, situated on a 27.5-acre parcel of land."
The new distribution center will provide Continental with space to store 400,000 passenger tires and 25,000 light truck tires. It will move an estimated two million units annually.
