What's the most popular passenger tire size at OE? P215/60R16, according to MTD research. The rest of the "top five" include, in descending order, P225/50R17, P265/70R17, P195/60R15 and P215/55R17.
"There were 314 passenger sizes alone in 2008," the most recent year such information was available, writes MTD Editor Bob Ulrich in MTD's 2010 Facts Issue. "Another 195 were LT sizes for a total of 519 consumer tire sizes."
