Tire Pros, a subsidiary of American Tire Distributors Inc. (ATD), has named Wes Stephenson vice president of operations. He has responsibilities over marketing, training, and program development.
Prior to accepting his new position, Stephenson served as director of business development at ATD’s Salt Lake City distribution center. Under Stephenson’s direction, the Salt Lake center was recognized at ATD’s 2014 Leadership Conference with three top-achievement awards. He was a finalist for the prestigious President’s Cup award.
Stephenson spent 23 years as a partner in 13 franchised retail tire stores and oil change centers in Las Vegas, Nev., and was frequently recognized as a leading performer among the 300-plus outlets within the franchise organization. He was also active at the national level, serving for five years as president of the association for affiliated franchisees, and on the board of directors for the Tire Industry Association.
“Wes brings proven retail, franchise, and marketing leadership with him as he steps into this new role,” says Tire Pros President Dan Brown. “Our Tire Pros franchise is all about retail and bringing added resources and support to the nation’s family-owned independent tire dealer.

There are more than 600 Tire Pros franchised independent tire dealer locations nationwide.
