Transence Technologies plc has named Bartec USA LLC as a distributor of its TLGX commercial tire inspection tools in the U.S.

Bartec also will distribute Transence's Tiretask tire lifecycle management software.

As part of the agreement, Bartec will offer Translogik's tire inspection tools and Tiretask software "directly to fleet operators and commercial vehicle customers across the U.S., Canada and Mexico," say Transense officials.

"The partnership represents a key step in Transense's North American growth strategy, gaining access to Bartec’s extensive customer base and creating new opportunities for both hardware sales and recurring software revenues.

"Translogik's inspection tools are designed specifically for demanding fleet environments, delivering reliable tire condition measurement and inspection data. Combined with Tiretask, fleets can digitise inspections, monitor tire performance and safety throughout its lifecycle and make more informed decisions on maintenance."
