The Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) was an exhibitor at the U.S. Interior Department (DOI) Safety and Information Fair, held May 19 in Washington, D.C. The fair was part of the DOI's annual Safety & Health Week.
The RMA joined government and non-governmental agencies in educating DOI staff and others about various safety-related issues. RMA staff and Phillip the Tire mascot handed out materials and demonstrated proper tire care and maintenance.
The association also promoted National Tire Safety Week, which is June 7-13, 2009.
