SEMA Show, Day Two: TIA offers legal service program

Tire Industry Association (TIA) members who are looking for legal advice will have access to an one-hour ,free consultation with Ogletree Deakins Nash Smoak & Stewart, the country's third-largest labor and employment law firm.

Earlier today at the 2009 Specialty Equipment Market Association Show, TIA announced it has formed a partnership with the law firm.

TIA members also will be able to e-mail their questions to an Ogletree Deakins lawyer. "After the initial consultation, at the dealer's request, (the firm) will provide TIA members with representation from the appropriate attorney."

Jim Micali, former chairman of Michelin North America Inc., is a member of Ogletree Deakins, TIA Executive Vice President Roy Littlefield also noted. Micali "will be able to provide his tremendous experience in the tire industrry to our members."
