The ACDelco division of General Motors Co. has introduced a line of accessory belt drive component kits that have all the parts for a complete accessory belt drive system restoration.
Seventy-eight part numbers cover more than 1,300 applications for import and domestic makes.
ACDelco Accessory Drive Belt Component Kits include the ACDelco V-ribbed serpentine belt, tensioner and idler, along with supporting hardware and detailed instructions.
The company recommends all three components be replaced at the same time to ensure a quality installation and to reduce comebacks. A majority of the labor required to change the idlers and tensioners is already included with the serpentine belt replacement.
