Nokian Tyres plc posted net sales of 444.2 million euros ($583.9 million) for the first half of the year, a 28.1% increase over the same period in 2009.
The Finland-based tire manufacturer achieved operating profit of 82 million euros ($108.2 million) during the first six months of 2010, also an increase from the first half of 2009.
