Kal Tire has opened a distribution center and remanufacturing facility, including a truck tire retreading plant, in Amaranth, Ontario.
The 410,000-square-foot facility also offers wheel refinishing and will support Kal Tire's network of 40 stores in Ontario, a growing base of commercial trucking fleets and an expanding footprint of tire dealer customers, according to Kal Tire officials.
Cam Johnston, senior vice president of wholesale and supply at Kal Tire, described the new facility as "the most important, purpose-built investment that we've made in the Ontario market," demonstrating the Vernon, British Columbia-based dealership's commitment to supporting growth throughout the province.
Kal Tire recently held an opening ceremony at the facility that was attended by Kal Tire executives and other dignitaries.
