Alma, Mich.-based Alma Tire Companies recently cut the ribbon at its remodeled Modern Mechanics store in Midland, Mich.
"We just completed an exterior/interior remodel and wanted to highlight (that) will a grand reopening event," a spokesperson for Alma Tire Companies told MTD.
The 5,000-square-foot store has eight service bays and is one of four locations that operate under the Alma Tire Companies' Modern Mechanics banner. (The others are located in Lansing, Alma and Mount Pleasant, Mich.)
Alma Tire Companies also operates nine commercial tire centers, a location that "services the manufacturing industry" and a 45,000-square-foot Bandag retread plant/distribution center.
The company is one of the largest independent tire dealerships in the U.S., according to the 2025 MTD 100.
