Jeff Hall, president of Midas of Eastern Ontario in Kingston, Ontario, has been named as a 2026 Franchisee of the Year by the International Franchise Association (IFA).

Hall will be honored at the IFA26 Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C., Sep. 14-16, for his "excellence in entrepreneurship, community outreach, workforce development and service to others," according to Midas officials. 

“Since joining the Midas family nearly 20 years ago, Jeff represents why Midas is the best and what it means to be a true leader in the communities your business calls home,” says Lenny Valentino Jr., president & COO of Midas.

“We’re proud and honored that Jeff and his family have chosen to build a meaningful, successful and dynamic career with Midas. I’m excited for what he, his family and his whole Midas team will accomplish over the next 20 years in Ontario. Knowing Jeff, he’s just getting started.” 

After joining Midas in 2007, he transformed a struggling location that had previously generated $650,000 in annual sales into a $1 million business in its first year, say company officials. Today, he owns six Midas locations generating approximately $18 million in annual revenue, making him one of the highest-performing Midas owner-operators across the U.S. and Canada.

“I’m honored to have been named IFA Franchisee of the Year, but it’s not just an award for me, it recognizes my whole team, my family and my entire community,” says Hall. “Everything we’ve accomplished has been a team effort
built on hard work, trust and a commitment to taking care of our customers and each other. I’m proud of what we’ve built together and grateful for the people who make it possible every day.”

Hall has continued to make community involvement a top business priority. He has donated to youth sports and community programs with nearly $50,000 in annual sponsorships, participated in two Midas Project Spark vehicle
donations and led initiatives such as Clothes for Kids and Christmas Angel Tree drives.

He also supports pediatric cancer research through an annual charity hockey event, which raises approximately $200,000 each year. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Hall provided more than 2,000 meals and helped feed nearly 1,000 families through Midas Drive Out Hunger, while continuing to support breast cancer fundraising and volunteer efforts benefiting those in need.

Hall will be honored alongside other recipients at a luncheon on Sep. 15 and throughout the IFA26 Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C., later this month.
