Fitment Group has launched a significantly enhanced analytics platform, featuring a completely restructured user interface, expanded search and filtering capabilities and more.
The platform also offers deeper pricing analytics and artificial intelligence (AI)-powered features.
"The updated application experience is designed to make it easier for tire manufacturers, distributors, retailers and other industry professionals to understand market pricing, identify meaningful trends, market sales forecasts, emerging and declining tire sizes and make more informed business decisions," say Fitment Group officials.
The platform inclues Tire Watch and Tire Watch Plus, which are built on Fitment Group’s extensive tire pricing data and car park analytics capabilities, "providing industry professionals with visibility into advertised tire pricing, as well as visibility into market demand, sales forecasting by market and size and insights into which brands and models to stock."
The redesigned platform provides users with a streamlined experience for navigating market data and finding information most relevant to their business, including enhanced search and filtering to make it easier to find specific tire sizes, brands, models and market segments; expanded analytics that provide greater visibility into tire pricing trends, market demand trends and competitor assortments; new AI-generated pricing summaries to help users quickly interpret pricing movements and identify key market trends; faster data processing to provide a faster, more responsive user experience; and a modernized interface that makes the platform easier to navigate "while providing a clearer path from data to insight.
According to Fitment Group, the enhanced platform is designed to help users answer important questions such as:
· How are tires priced and positioned in my market and what does this product mix look like?
· What are the most popular tire sizes in my market and where am I winning and losing?
· What tire sizes are emerging and declining?
· What competitive pricing opportunities and margin expansion are available?
"By bringing these capabilities together in a single, streamlined platform, the applications help users move beyond simply viewing pricing and market data to understanding what the data means for their business."
"The tire market is currently being influenced by a wide range of factors, from tariffs and rising shipping and logistics costs to supply chain changes and shifting competitive dynamics," says JP Brooks, chief revenue officer at Fitment Group, which is based in Duluth, Minn.
"To add to these dynamics, the U.S. tire market contains hundreds of unique fitments, yet consumer demand is highly fragmented across those sizes. For retailers, that creates one of the industry's biggest challenges: knowing which sizes, brands and models to stock, how deeply to stock them and which sizes are better sourced on demand. You don't need to stock every size. You need to know which sizes matter in your market, what your market mix is and you need those tires priced appropriately."
