Florent Menegaux, managing general partner of Michelin Group's supervisory board, will remain in that position for a maximum of four more years.

The decision was unanimously agreed upon earlier this month.

Menegaux took over as the global head of Michelin in 2019.

He joined Michelin as commercial director for truck tires in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland in 1997. Three years later Michelin named him sales director for the original equipment and replacement truck tires markets for North America.

In 2003, he became head of truck tires for South America and in 2005 he was named head of the Africa and Middle East Zone. In January 2006, Menegaux took on responsibility for Michelin's passenger and light truck tire replacement business unit for Europe. Two years later, he was appointed executive vice president of passenger and light truck tire activities worldwide.

In December 2014, he was named Michelin's chief operating officer and in 2017, was named senior executive vice president of Michelin Group, before taking on his current role.
