1-800EveryRim OEM Wheels - in celebration of 500,000 text messages sent to its RimText service - will award $1,000 to the winner of its OEM RimText Contest.
The company also will donate an additional $1,000 in the contest winner's name to one of the following charities: the Wounded Warrior Project. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
Contestants must use the firm's RimText system to enter by texting the word "contest" to (951) 746-8398.
"After registration, subsequent messages must be legitimate inquiries into the buying or selling of factory original alloy or steel wheels," say company officials. "After registering, every message (has) a chance to win."
“I thought up RimText when my nephews would not return my emails or phone calls," says President Billy Eordekian. "I texted them and all three replied immediately, just like we do with RimText."
