Bauer Built Awards 2022 Scholarships

Bauer Built Inc. has recognized four high school seniors with $1,500 scholarships and the G. F. “Sam” and Ethel V. Bauer/Bauer Built Inc. Scholarship Award. Since 1994, Bauer Built has awarded $144,000 in scholarships.

The 2022 recipients are:

Bently Bauer, the daughter of Tad and Jodi Bauer. Tad is the company president. Bently is also the granddaughter of Jerry and Sue Bauer; Jerry is the company CEO. Bently plans to attend the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and pursue a degree in marketing.

Brinly Bauer is the daughter of Tad and Jodi Bauer. Tad is the company president. Brinly is also the granddaughter of Jerry and Sue Bauer; Jerry is the company CEO. Brinly plans to attend the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and pursue a degree in marketing and graphic design.

Alex Tittrington is the son of Jennifer Brizius and Jason Tittrington. Alex is also the grandson of Steve & Jammie Brizius. Steve is the warehouse and transportation manager of the Bauer Built tire center in St. Paul. Jammie is an administrative assistant at the Eagan tire center. Alex plans to attend University of Minnesota, Duluth, and pursue a degree in business.

Lainna Duncan is the daughter of David and Bobbijo Duncan. David is an outside sales representative at the Bauer Built tire center in Mason City, Iowa. Lainna plans to attend South Dakota State University, Brookings, S.D. and pursue a degree in fish and wildlife science.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be a Bauer Built employee, or a child, stepchild or grandchild of a Bauer Built employee who is graduating from high school and enrolled in a post‐secondary course of instruction. Each applicant must submit a hand‐written essay on the field of study being pursued along with their career goals, two letters of recommendation, and verification of grade‐point average with the application.
