The people of the United States have spoken. President Barack Obama has been re-elected.
In the end, the outcome really wasn't that close, with the incumbant winning almost every one of the crucial battleground states, including Ohio.
That isn't good news based on the results from our recent web poll. When asked, "Who will best help your business if elected president?" voters answered as follows:
Mitt Romney (Republican). 46%.
Gary Johnson (Libertarian). 40%.
Barack Obama (Democrat). 14%.
The two main presidential contenders for the presidency (the third, Johnson, finished with an estimated 1% of the vote) ran on two very different platforms. President Obama said he wanted stay the course for four more years. Former Massachusetts Governor Romney advocated "real change."
Given the results, do you plan to make any changes in the way you do business?
That is the new web poll question, which is located on the right-hand side of the Modern Tire Dealer home page under "Web Poll: Sponsored by Bridgestone" (after you scroll down a little).
